An Engineer turned Entrepreneur, makes amazing learning cards for kids. – Whole Brain India
We have a very inspiring mompreneur, founder of Whole Brain India, from a finest hill station – Coorg.
Sajani Prashanth, who is an Engineer by profession always believed in Early childhood education.
In her words, “The first 3 years of a child’s life is a crucial development period. Having known that, I dedicated a part of my time in exploring the methods and tools to support my child’s holistic development. When I got to know that, a child’s Right Brain develops first and it happens so until the first 6 years of his life, I just wanted to make use of that opportunity”.
Flash cards helps with brain stimulation. However, the cards available in the market never met her expectations. This made her design her own flash cards. Slowly, she started this as her own venture amidst being an engineering techie too.
What is the name of your small business?
Whole Brain India
When did you start your business? Please talk about your business!
“I started my business in 03-01-2021.
Flash cards are one of the most effective tool used in Early childhood education. Children during their early childhood days crave for knowledge. Books are one such great way to help children expand their skills. Keeping that in mind, where young children look for Short content, I started to create these flash cards which could be used for brain stimulation and to gain encyclopaedic knowledge. “
Sajani is also looking forward to release short story cards and many more interesting ways of using flash cards.

How has your journey been so far?
“There is seemingly a good response and a very good future lies ahead”.
We love this spirit from Sajani. Never give up attitude even during tough times is what defines an entrepreneur. She has been multi-tasking tremendously, taking care of her family and the business at hand with grace and determination for success!
What was the driving factor for you to become an entrepreneur?
It is a well-known fact that children are the future. It’s only logical to invest in them now, before they grow up and become adults who have no idea what their purpose on this planet might be. Learning materials are so expensive, and not everyone can afford. We believe affordable books and learning materials should be promoted for early education with new parents because it could help shape lives, mind-sets, and perceptions of the world from an earlier age onward!
What are the challenges you faced during this journey?
I tried to learn the art and found it interesting but then I realized this is not known by many people. They weren’t even aware of how beneficial being educated in these subjects would be for them because they were never taught about such things before, so I had to spread the word to those who need help with their education as well. It takes time to substantiate my knowledge among like-minded friends before I can publish them with findings on education. And helping them realise how important these skills can be in life.
What steps you took in order to overcome those challenges? How did you deal with challenges?
Self-learning is the key to customer success. Let’s talk about it with someone more knowledgeable for a fresh perspective on how we can get our customers engaged and understand them through their eyes, not ours. Sometimes it is about spreading awareness for the right thing and not always business.
What kind of support you think will help you overcome this?
In order to tap the whole market, time is of the essence. Small-time competitors might emerge any day now and we need a plan for them as well. We don’t want anyone else giving children this education but us because it’s our responsibility as parents, teachers or mentors! If given an opportunity, I can substantiate that there needs to be more emphasis on creativity in regular curriculum among students which will not only make India brighter kids with better mind-sets going into their adult lives but also Brilliant minded adults who are able to think about multiple perspectives within one problem solving process so they never stop learning.
I’m ecstatic that my customers are happy with me; feedback is the light of life in this mom-and-pop business. Whole Brain India has many projects on its horizon, and one of them is Kannada books for children to help improve their reading skills! It is evident that we do not have great Kannada learning books in the market now. That is where I am first headed to.
I always wanted to pursue an entrepreneurial path–with a little encouragement from friends who saw my potential–I decided not only was it possible but also worth pursuing no matter what challenges came along. Every person has dreams or goals they want accomplished someday if given the chance. Some don’t chase theirs because fear gets in the way while others step back without trying at all. However, progress begins with simple steps like cutting down watching TV (or any other media) and dedicating time instead.
